山ほととぎす

目には青葉、山ほととぎす、初鰹

郭公鸣空谷 绿叶满山映眼帘 垂钓得松鱼

Full of greens flood your sight
Little cuckoos up in the height
Fresh bonito as a seasonal delight

 

寒梅や火の迸る鉄より

寒梅枝似铁 火星四溅飞空中 花蕾朵朵红 

                      the plum twig like an iron rod, 

                      so many sparks spatter around the twig

                      which are red flower buds.

雪压翠竹弯

雪竹のばさとおきたる日向かな

雪压翠竹弯 却遇太阳顺手牵 耸立一如前
